Laodicea Is Here

I believe this to be a perceptive poem about the church today. Read Rev. 3:14-22 for context. Even though I believe this message in Revelation was written to a particular church in the first century, there are some similarities between them and us which this poem illustrates.

  1. You’re not going to believe this, but yesterday in the Doctor’s waiting room sat a woman clutching her side in great pain. I began ministering to her and comforting her the best I could. When my wife and I got around to introductions, come to find out her name was Aletheia …blew me away. Had never before seen that name nor heard it spoken till your blog and this encounter, Praise God.
And yes I have looked up “Aletheia” very interesting…(greek)
This young lady I met was brimming with anointing to overflow…she unknowingly just exuded it like a projectiled blessing missal!

    1. That’s such a wonderful story! I hope she is doing OK now. Yes, the name “Aletheia_Word” is inspired by my love for the Greek language. I studied it during graduate school and I hope to be able to dedicate more time to it someday. Aletheia means “truth” as you probably discovered and this is my ultimate goal.
